Create soft curls:
Gently brush through the curls with a paddle brush to soften the shape, then apply a holding spray to set the look. Next apply a gel, mousse or contour fiber crème. The best way to apply any of these products is to squeeze a small amount into the palm of your hand and then apply evenly to the curls, smoothing them down.

Create defined curls:
To get defined curls, use a larger amount of mousse you can work with or a hair crème. When the hair is covered evenly in product, use your hands to pick up the curls and scrunch them upwards. This will make the curls pop. Afterwards spray with hairspray and leave to dry.

Bring back the original curl pattern:
To bring the curls back to their original look, wet the hair with a little bit of water and use a wide tooth comb to separate the hair. Use your fingers to shape and smooth the curls to their original look.

Preserve the original curl pattern after washing:
After washing and before you set it to dry, use your fingers and hands to scrunch the hair upwards. This will help keep the curl pattern looking fresh for longer.
